The back is a cross hatch fabric in orange and white to pick up the orange in the four patches and border.
The border is done in a lime green polka dot. Another quilt top finished – all washed and crinkled.
It’s a three day weekend for us which makes us all smile. Have a safe one!

ReplyDeleteLove the quilt! You are sure getting lots of projects finished up!! You will run out pretty soon and have to start some new ones. :o) Where did you find the jack o lantern kit? Was it in Keepsake Quilting, the two you made are just adorable, I think I might give it a try if I can find the kit. I am coming along on my lodge quilt, of course I added a few days work to it by satin stitching around all the trees and moose but I think it looks more finished that way. Had a great day at the lake Sat. and today after church till about six o'clock, just gorgeous down there. Don't know if we are going tomorrow again or stay here and work on the house we are getting ready to take down. If it's 90* like they are predicting we will probably head for the lake! :o) The baby is just gorgeous! What a sweetie!!!

ReplyDeleteThat is a very pretty jelly roll quilt. I made one a while ago out of Christmas fabrics for my husband. I didn't add a pretty border like you though.

ReplyDeleteAdore your jelly roll quilt and may have to crib from your example. I have one in the works that I started last spring, cutting all of the strips into random smaller lengths and thereby doubling the work needed to join them all. But now, want to do more than just sew the strips together over and over again. Have been playing with a block format, but it's not coming together yet. Something like your little 4-patches might be just what it needs to break up the monotony. Otherwise, it will become just a car or picnic quilt.
