Once again, the patterns were printed off and sewn as sections. I used my wonderful Aurifil threads for my sewing.
Once the pieces were sewn, they were trimmed and arranged as they would be sewn together.
Next up was sewing them together to create Part 4.
It's fun to see them all coming together.
This has been such a fun paper pieced QAL hosted by Gosia. If you have not joined in, there is still time. The patterns are still available. There is plenty of time to catch up. The information can be found on Gosia's website.
There are prizes to be won so what's stopping you? Check out our great sponsors.
This is so interesting! Not recalling seeing your previous posts about this one, so it's like only having four pieces of a 100 piece puzzle! I'll just remain in the dark and await the final reveal. Your piecing is so precise, and I love your fabrics.
ReplyDeleteSome more clever piecing. This section looks like part of a tree also. I am so curious as to what the finish quilt is going to look like.
ReplyDeleteIt's fun seeing this come together. I'm guessing a large deer with antlers :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is very intriguing and fun to watch. You do such amazing work, Mary. I look forward to seeing this one come together.
ReplyDeleteWow! All those pieces are amazing. Paper piecing and I don't usually get along very well.

ReplyDeleteAmazing piecing.....
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your progress Mary ! I always love your perfect work.
ReplyDeleteHaving just read sections of Job last night, it's comfirmed: you have the patience of Job in creating these foundation paper pieced sections. And so fun to see them coming together!! I am beginning, also, to see the master plan in your color selections--looks like we have a reindeer come this way in time for Christmas? Thanks for showing us your progress!
