The next one was a quilt top that her sister in law made. She is a new quilter - taught by my sister - and I think she had a great teacher. The quilt seams matched perfectly and quilted up beautifully.
The Bloom SAL continues and this is the newest block. I think I need to start doing them at the rate of once a week instead of once every two weeks. You can see others HERE.
The weather has been so chilly and we've have so many frosty nights this year. So many plants are showing signs of frostbite. Fortunately, it has not affected the citrus. The trees are all packed with fruits and it would be such a shame to loose it. We have three more cold nights forecast for this week.

We have grandchildren and a grand dog staying with us for a few days. We've had so little sunshine lately, but the dog has managed to find the little sunshine that there is.

ReplyDeleteBoth of those quilts are lovely and I like your bloom blocks. I have a lime tree that I bring in the house in the winter and harvested 3 limes, even though there is a couple of feet of snow on the ground.

ReplyDeleteI can't believe that is a "dog" quilt. It is gorgeous. I like the other quilt too. I hope your citrus stays healthy and doesn't get too cold. Those cold storms have been coming across the country and giving us cold and rain (snow in some places too). Keep warm and pray for sun.

ReplyDeleteSister time is so special and her “Dog” quilt is really pretty. And her student’s quilt is amazing. Sweet Granddog you have dear. We have another 4” of fresh snow. It is fun and melts as fast as it is gently snowing. So beautiful on the Red Rocks and Red Mountains.
