As with others, the week has been super busy as we prepare for the arrival of Christmas. The wrapping is finished and the baking has started.
With stolen minutes here and there throughout the week, I have managed to finish Clue #4 and am ready for the next one.
A few small gifts were also made this week.
Little boxy bags for carrying little items.
A couple of Crazy Cat potholders. Pattern by Made By Marney.
With guests arriving tomorrow, I doubt that I will be back on the computer until next week. I wish all of you a blessed Christmas. I hope you can enjoy the time spent with family and friends in peace and love.
Those potholders are just too cute! Have a very Merry Christmas!

I'm hoping to start Clue #4 this afternoon. Clue #3 was finished yesterday! You made such cute bags and pot holders. The pot holders are almost too nice to use! I hope you have a very merry Christmas and a wonderful time with your family, Mary.
ReplyDeleteWow - you're keeping up with the mystery parts and still getting other stuff done, too? Amazing. Merry Christmas!!
ReplyDeleteCute potholders and I like the colours you're using for your mystery quilt. Happy Christmas!
ReplyDeleteYou've accomplished a lot for the week before Christmas! Love those potholders! I'm waiting to see the full reveal before starting to pull fabrics for the mystery - since I don't have many of the coral/melon variety it would require purchasing some. Wishing you and your family a most blessed and joyful Christmas and much happiness in the new year!
ReplyDeletethose whacky cats are cute!
ReplyDeleteThe boxy pouches are fabulous. And the pot holders are great too. Merry Christmas and enjoy the time with the family.
ReplyDeleteLovely gift sewing Mary - those boxy pouches are a great idea for wee toys. And the wacky critters make fun potholders! Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones!

ReplyDeleteWishing you a wonderful Christmas 🎄 with your beautiful family... 🤶
You look very ready with your last minute sewing, and finishing up your ORL clue #4.
ReplyDeleteMy maternal grandmother's birthday is December 21st, so I wake up every year thinking of her. My mother, after my own wedding rings were cut off in last year's surgery, gave me that grandmother's wedding ring to have. I wear it along with the new band that Dave gave me, and it reminds me of her.
Unlike you, I'm a winter fan, as I like candles and twinkly lights and the tucking in at night that happens during this season. However, I'm just a "California winter" lover, not one for the Canadian winters!
Have a very Merry Christmas!
So so cute, love your giftie makes, Merry Christmas Mary!
ReplyDeleteOh. My. Gosh! Who wouldn’t love those pot holders!?!
