Tea for Two

So sorry this is late publishing. It was scheduled to go live, but failed to do so.  Maybe it was a nasty April Fool's joke.


Although today is April Fool’s Day, it is no joke that we are kicking off our Tea for Two Blog Hop this morning.  Thank you so much to Madame Samm who blogs at Sew We Stitch for coming up with another wonderful hop.  Thank you as well to Cori who creates the most amazing designs for us to stitch.

My take on this design included a multitude of techniques – applique, free motion quilting, embroidery and Brazilian embroidery.

    Your stitching is wonderful. Love the applique - look at those heels!! What is Brazilian embroidery? Was that the little flower swirls? Totally gorgeous roses - you have a green thumb, too. :)

    Mary, This is so beautiful, I absolutely love it, so worth waiting for.

    First of all I love the spring colors and then Wow...beautiful applique and stitching....was the design yours? I have to confess at the name of the blog hop I was seeing Fred Astaire....or was it Shirley Temple? tap dancing to the tune of "Tea for two".....love it!And just so you know it will be your fault if I have that song stuck in my head all day....lol...

    Would love to do this hop, but only Chalk Outlines actually takes me to any site. All the others are errors. Same thing happened with the links at the Chalk Outlines page. Love what you did!

    Mary, that is phenomenal! Every time I zoom in on the photo of the finished piece I see another detail I had not seen before. I can't imagine how many hours you put into that. Simply gorgeous!!
