I know that the last thing that a lot of you want to see is snow – or pictures of snow. We, on the other hand, had the delightful experience of snow for our annual “snow” trip. When we arrived it was summer like weather with temps near 70*. The only snow to be seen was on the mountain top.
The day afterwards it started to snow. It snowed and snowed and snowed. We all loved watching the flakes falling throughout the evening and then all the next day. In total we got about 12” of fresh snow and it changed our scenery to a winter wonderland.
Digging out to leave was a different story and driving was a bit challenging.
It was a great time for making family memories.

ReplyDeleteI would love to see snow. We have not had enough this year. Looks like a ton of fun for your family
ReplyDeleteThe snow photos are lovely but I know the trip home with chains on the tires was not........what a wonderful family gathering you had!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great family tradition! It must be pretty wild (and fun) to have that many family members together at one time. I'm more than ready for there to be no more snow but I can see the appeal for those who only see it once a year.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy looking at pictures of snow, and yours are beautiful, but do not like looking at snow in my yard! It looks like you had a wonderful time together.
ReplyDeleteOh what a fabulous way to build memories...
ReplyDeleteLove those snow photos...
