Hopping Down the Bunny Trail

Sandi has invited everyone to take a hop down the bunny trail with her this spring.  (I actually think she is tired of winter.)  There are a lot of "Good Eggs" that have agreed to her request to make the hop even more fun by perhaps adding a few items to your basket as you enter their giveaways.

From this Good Egg,  you will have a chance to add a handmade journal all decked out for spring with bright colors and flowers.



I am opening my hop to everyone and I will ship internationally.  Just leave me a comment from now until midnight CST.  I will draw a name on the 29th and will then contact you.  Be sure that I have a way to contact you.  If not, I will draw another name until I have a winner.

    Oh, Mary, this is just lovely. I wish I could win but as the hostess, I'm not entering but just stopping by to visit all the Good Eggs. You are right....I am tired of winter!!     Oh, Mary, what a beautiful covered journal you made but then that doesn't surprise me, everything you make is gorgeous:-)

    When you mentioned "Good Egg", it brought back memories of a saying I used to say to my brothers when we were all younger....You're a good egg, too bad it's cracked! hehe

    You were asking about the sap that comes out of a maple tree to make syrup...the sap is 2% sugar and 98% water so when you drink it straight from the bucket, it tastes like water with a mild sweet taste to it. It must be boiled down to syrup by evaporating the water content that's in it. It takes 40 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of syrup so you can imagine all the sap that has to be collected throughout the season!! For perfect flowing conditions, it must be below freezing temps at night and above freezing temps with sun in the daytime. It really is quite the process to watch start to finish:-) xoxo
