I hadn't picked it up in years and tried last year and realized I couldn't see to do it. So, last November I had surgery on both my eyes and I hope I'm getting used to the prisms in my glasses to be able to stitch again. I remember gingham being a mainstay of life. I was the youngest of three children. My mom made matching ews gingham dresses for us and shirts for my brothers. When we went shopping in a larger town, she'd have us wear them. She'd tell me if I got separated to look at my dress and find something to match it to find a family member. Babby (Mom's mom) even had a red gingham dress. I love the chicken scratch. I want to try that. Your ray of sunshine comes through in the adorable dress. It's even cuter on your adorable model. I can tell she is thrilled with it, as she should be. Thanks for participating in the hop and sharing a bit of your summer. I pray your mom is recovering well.Suzehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05825257012315494167noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3791304731827660383.post-59821433453321671792014-09-12T13:11:48.289-07:002014-09-12T13:11:48.289-07:00So much to Ohhh and awwwww over!
