With blocks bouncing around in my mind, we headed off to Northern California for our grandson’s wedding. Since our SIL could not make the trip we took our daughter and their four little ones in our car. These were the smiles before the nearly 500 miles/ 9 hour drive. We made many stops to “stretch our legs”, but it is still a long time to be buckled in car seats.
The wedding was beautiful and the happy couple is now off on their own.
Coming home, I jumped back into the QAL. It is a very fast moving QAL with a new row coming out every other day. Mine is all done using scraps that I have.

It's GORGEOUS!!!! I'm glad you chose to mix up those orange peel blocks - love the sparkly scrapiness of them in that quilt :) Wow - I want one just like it!

ReplyDeleteI love the colors you're using for your quilt. The citrus color really pop against the black. I love the "orange peel" block The settings are fun either way.
